Technical Blog: Anti-Slip Mesh

Published on 28/09/2017

  • Technical Blog: Anti-Slip Mesh

All our standard Anti-Slip Numnahs and Saddlepads include our wonderful Anti-Slip Mesh on the underside, between your horse & pad, with a choice of Mesh or “sticky” on the top, between saddle & pad. Today we would like to tell you just few of the wonderful properties of our Mesh.

Our Mesh is made from a unique non-toxic resin which has been tested suitable to use in products intended for babies! This makes it great for horses, ponies and people with sensitive skin but still need the benefits of an anti-slip.

Facts & Figures

  •          Latex, PVC, toxin & heavy metal free
  •          2.4mm depth for minimal impact on saddle fit
  •          Four Colours: Black, White, Navy & Red
  •          UV Stable- will not deteriorate if left in direct sunlight
  •          Odourless- no hot plastic smell!
  •          Hygienic & easy to clean (machine washable)- ideal for busy yards
  •          Biodegradable- almost as eco-friendly as our wool!
  •          Fire retardant
  •          Safe on all surfaces- i.e. will not stick to other surfaces when not in use
  •          Extremely secure: as a result of our success with this fabric we now not only use it on our saddlepads but on our Fairfax Performance girth      sleeves & Wool Insoles!

The Anti-Slip mesh has proven itself time after time as very hard wearing with fantastic performance that lasts year after year and we are sure we have not found all its possible uses just yet!
